SUBSTANCE: group of inventions involves: a method for forming a virtual dental model for producing a physical dental model, a method for improving the virtual dental model, a system for forming the virtual dental model for producing the physical dental model and the physical dental model (versions), refers to orthopaedic dentistry and is applicable in dental prosthetics. The method for forming the virtual dental model for producing the physical dental model implemented with the use of a computer involves the following stages: creating the virtual dental model comprising a gum fragment and a tooth in the form of a portion of the removable element in the model; forming a cavity in the above gum fragment with the cavity comprising a wall for introducing the removable element to form a boundary line between the removable element and the cavity wall; providing guide supports to carry and position the removable element in the cavity. The removable element and the wall cavity are arranged to form a gap on the above boundary line. The guide supports are formed on one of two objects - the above removable element or the above cavity wall so as to pass through the removable element and the cavity wall thereby supporting and positioning the removable element in the cavity in the physical model produced by the virtual model. A contact area between the removable element and the contact wall on the above boundary line is caused by the shape of adjoining surfaces of the guide supports and the second of the two objects - the removable element or the cavity wall.

EFFECT: group of inventions enables more effective dental prosthetics by enabling a dental technician testing dental prostheses on the physical model.
