Spatial ultrasonic scanning of the lacrimal gland is performed. If variable in the area and size cellular structures with moderately hypoechoic density are detected, an injury of the lacrimal glands at the initial stage of Sjogren's syndrome is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method ensures an increase of accuracy and reliability of diagnostics due to the detection of echographic signs, pathognomic for the initial stage of Sjogren's syndrome, reduction of examination trauma.
