FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of producing biocompatible biodegradable porous composite material includes mixing chitin nanofibrils, which are pre-dispersed in an aqueous medium with pH=5-7 in an ultrasonic field with frequency of 20-100 kHz for 5-60 min, with chitosan with deacetylation degree of 60-95%, molecular weight of 50-450 kDa, in an amount corresponding to concentration thereof in the solution of 0.1-10 wt %, wherein the amount of the filler is equal to 0.1-50% of the weight of chitosan. The obtained mixture is then intensely mixed at 20-50°C for 20-60 min, followed by adding a concentrated acid in an amount which enables to achieve concentration of the aqueous acid solution in the mixture of 0.1-5%; the mixture is intensely mixed at 20-50°C for 20-250 min and medicinal agents, plasticisers and bioresorbable polymers are added. The obtained mixture is stirred at 20-50°C for 20-60 min and then cooled to temperature of -0.1 to -196°C, followed by removing the solvent in a vacuum, treating the obtained material with a neutralising agent, washing with water to pH=6-7 and drying or heat treatment at 50-200°C for 10-360 min. The obtained porous material with a system of through-pores with a size of 1-1000 mcm is impregnated with medicinal agents, plasticisers and bioresorbable polymers.
EFFECT: material has a through-porous structure, which retains its shape and dimensions in liquid media, is non-toxic and completely biodegradable within a few weeks.
