FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method includes sensors for measuring physical quantities acquiring an image of a given section of the road with traffic; transmitting data to a computer; processing data on the traffic and the road environment; comparing the obtained traffic data with allowable data according to road traffic rules at said section of the road; performing automatic classification and detection of road traffic violations and emergency situations with identification of specific road traffic offenders. Processing of data on traffic and the road environment is carried out by converting the compared data received from sensors for measuring physical quantities into coordinates of a generated model of the road section. Based on instances of road traffic violations, program means automatically generate evidence base packets and send said packets to external information receivers, while simultaneously sending to an evidence base archive.
EFFECT: objectivity of obtaining information on the road environment and improved evidence capability of the created evidence base on road traffic violations by a particular vehicle.
