FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology and provides an isolated nucleic acid for typing and/or marking Bifidobacterium lactis strains, which consists of CRISPR B.lactis locus sequence selected from a group consisting of a) Balal (SEQ ID NO: 1); b) Balal repeat sequence selected from SEQ ID NO: 2 and variants thereof; c) Balal spacer sequence selected from SEQ ID NO:3-24; where the SEQ ID NO: 2 variants are selected from a group consisting of: substitution of T at position 12, substitution of T at position 14 and substitution of A at position 36. The invention also relates to a vector comprising a nucleic acid, a cell transformed by nucleic acid and a method of typing B. lactis strains.
EFFECT: invention enables to perform typing of microorganisms efficiently.
