FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely nephrology, and is applicable to study haemodynamic disturbances in a renal artery accompanying nephroptosis. The method involves an ultrasonic diagnosis (USDG) of a renal artery of both kidneys first in an orthostasis, and then in a clinostasis. A pathologically movable kidney is the first to study in the orthostasis if the patient suffers unilateral nephroptosis. If observing bilateral nephroptosis, the study starts from the side of a more pronounced degree of nephroptosis. In the clinostasis, an intact kidney is studied first in unilateral neproptosis, whereas bilateral nephroptosis needs starting the study from the side of a less pronounced degree of nephroptosis. An ortho- and clinostasis blood flow difference is determined respectively.
EFFECT: method enables giving an objective, reliable estimate of the blood flow in a middle segment of the renal artery of the pathologically movable kidney by performing the study in the declared sequence.
