FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic field resonance oscillations are excited in oscillatory circuit comprising inductance and capacitor which is galvanically isolated from measuring circuit. Note here that capacitor and insulated conductor are place in fluid to displace said conductor relative to capacitor. Note also that insulated conductor insulation failure is detected by variation in electromagnetic field oscillatory circuit resonance oscillation frequency.

EFFECT: higher sensitivity.
