SUBSTANCE: invention discloses the image encoding process. Claimed process comprises the steps that follow. The set is checked to define if the candidate for motion vector prediction is the temporary motion vector prediction or spatial prediction of said vector. In case said candidate is the temporary prediction of motion vector it is stored in the set. On the other hand, in case the candidate for motion vector prediction is the spatial prediction of this vector then it is defined if said candidate can be included in the set or not.
EFFECT: decreased deterioration of the image quality.
