SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiology, and can be used as a method for prediction of risk of progressing exertional angina, developing left ventricular hypertrophy and obesity in patients with ischemic heart disease combined with diabetes type 2. Method: detecting genetic polymorphism T1565S of ITGB3 gene in the patients with ischemic heart disease, occurring on the background of type 2 diabetes mellitus. If observing in patients with allele c gene ITGB3 shows a high risk of progression of exertional angina, developing left ventricular hypertrophy and obesity.

EFFECT: using the invention in medicine allows predicting with high probability of developing complications in ischemic heart disease associated with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
