FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for simulating chronic osteomyelitis lesion. For said purpose, a bone defect in animal subject to placement into carrier defect strain pathogenic microorganism. Carrier used is mylar cloth contaminated with strain of pathogenic microorganisms by keeping the mylar strips of fabric in suspension of pathogen 1.5 McF(1*108 CFU). After strip in bone defect, it is sealed bone wax, and wound is sutured in layers. Removal of strips is carried out on 7th day.

EFFECT: method provides for chronic osteomyelitis, including due to complete removal of carrier strain pathogen from a wound with preservation of clinical and morphological presentation of disease.
