SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to pulmonology, and can be used for early diagnosis of lung disease at a young age. To do this, conducted are a survey and assessment of ventilation lung function by spirometry and body plethysmography. In case of complaints about productive cough and indicators of forced expiratory volume in one second and forced vital capacity of the lung for more than 80 % and the ratio of these indicators more than 0.70 during spirometry diagnosed with chronic bronchitis. If you have complaints about asthma, cough, shortness of breath and wheezing, decrease in forced expiratory volume in one second in less than 80 % of cases patients are diagnosed with asthma. In the presence of risk factors - smoking, exposure to irritants in the history and the ratio of forced expiratory volume in one second to forced vital capacity of the lungs of less than 0.70 - the correct diagnosis is chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. In case of deviation of intrathoracic volume for more than 140 % of the residual lung volume by more than 120 %, total lung capacity more than 120 % during the investigation of body plethysmography under normal spirometry diagnosed with asthma as a predictor of the degree of non-severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
EFFECT: method allows the differential diagnosis of respiratory pathology in young people at an early stage, allowing for timely treatment and prevent the formation of more severe forms of the disease.
