SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of cysteine including the stage of interaction of O-phosphoserine (OPS) as a substrate with sulphide in the presence of O-phosphoserine-hydrilase sulphide (OPSS). The latter includes tan aminoacid sequence represented in SEQ ID NO: 1 or 2, or the microorganism that expresses it to get the said cysteine. It discloses also the production of a cysteine derivative.

EFFECT: higher yield of cysteine and its derivative.
