FIELD: radio engineering and communications.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication engineering and can be used in mobile communication systems. For this purpose in the process of communication resources appointment in wireless telecommunication system with orthogonal frequency division multiplex (OFDM) data is transferred using multiple OFDM subcarriers. Method comprises stages of: communication resources appointing provided by the first group of multiple OFDM subcarriers in the first frequency range to terminal devices of the first type; communication resources appointing provided by the second group of multiple OFDM subcarriers in the second frequency range to terminal devices of the second type; wherein the second group is less than the first group, and the second frequency range is selected within the first frequency range; control information is transmitted containing information on resources appointing for terminal devices of the first type in the first width band corresponding to the combined first and second groups of OFDM subcarriers; and then control information is transmitted containing information on resources appointment for terminal devices of the second type in the second width band corresponding to the second group of OFDM subcarriers.

EFFECT: increasing transmission capacity.
