FIELD: radio engineering and communications.

SUBSTANCE: mobile telecommunication system with mobile terminals of the first type and mobile terminals of the second type is proposed. Mobile terminals can transmit uplink data into network via a radio interface using a multiple subcarriers, and mobile terminals of the first type are made with possibility of transmitting uplink data via the first group of subcarriers from multiple subcarriers throughout the first bandwidth, and mobile terminals of the second type are made with possibility of transmitting uplink data via the second group of subcarriers from multiple subcarriers within the first group of subcarriers throughout the second bandwidth. Second bandwidth is less than the first bandwidth. Mobile terminals of the first type are configured for random access request to a network base station requesting uplink resources via first random access channel. Mobile terminals of the second type are configured for random access request to a network base station requesting uplink resources via second random access channel. Random access request messages transmitted via second random access channel are transmitted to subcarriers within the second group of subcarriers.

EFFECT: use of relatively cheap and less complex devices for providing communication using networks of LTE type.
