FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of high-accurate processing of ophthalmic implants optical surface. Technical result is achieved using proposed plant for polishing surface of intraocular lens (IOL) optical element with ion beam, containing first source directed ion beam arranged in vacuum chamber, IOL holder with scanning mechanism mounted on way of ion beam, and control facilities. At that, plant includes second source of directed ion beam, mounted in vacuum chamber opposite and coaxially with first source, connected with scanning beams in two mutually perpendicular directions, and refrigerating device with heat shield. At that, heat shield is U-shaped plate with coaxial through holes in wide walls secured relative to walls of vacuum chamber and arranged on one axis with sources of ion beams and said through holes in walls. IOL holder is made in form of split cassette with cells for attachment of single IOL with IOL perimeter masking facilities. At that, cartridge is made with possibility of action of ion beams on both optical surfaces of IOL, and located between wide walls of heat shield with gap and coupled with drive. Drive is made with possibility of moving IOL to be polished in ion beams exposure area, subsequent oscillating rotary scanning of cartridge around vertical axis during action of ion beams, and upon reaching of specified integrated exposure dose ions - movement in zone of ion beams action of next IOL subject to polishing.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of apparatus for finish polishing of IOL optical element surface from polymer material.
