SUBSTANCE: invention relates to video decoding. Video decoding method comprising: obtaining spatial candidate vector displacement in space adjacent block to current block; temporary candidate motion vector on associated block to current block, block is included in related related image selected based on reference index extracted from video signal; generating list of candidate motion vectors having spatial vector and candidate motion vector candidate temporal displacement; defining motion vector predictor based on list of candidate motion vectors and index of candidate of current block, index of candidate indicates one of candidate motion vectors contained in list of candidate motion vectors; determining motion vector of current block using predictor motion vector and difference motion vectors; and obtaining samples of current prediction block using motion vector.
EFFECT: technical result - efficient decoding video data.
