FIELD: data processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to video signal decoding devices. Such a result is achieved by obtaining the difference coefficients of a current block from a video signal; backward quantized difference coefficients are determined; difference samples of the current block are determined; reference image for the current block is selected; the reference block in the reference image is determined; the reference samples are formed in the support block, with the formation of reference samples includes the determination of a first sub-sample; and a second sub-sample is determined, with an interpolation filter for vertical interpolation being applied to the first sub-sample, and the second sub-sample is one of a number of two samples in a quarter-pixel position and a sample in a half-pixel position, aligned vertically under the first sub-sample; prediction samples of the current block are obtained; current block is recreated by using difference samples and prediction samples; and an unblocking filter is applied to the restored current block.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of video signal decoding efficiency.
