SUBSTANCE: disclosed is use of a combination containing a therapeutically effective amount of a pharmaceutically acceptable zinc compound, ascorbic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and succinic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof for improving effectiveness of antibacterial drug chlorhexidine or chlorhexidine bigluconate, including a pharmaceutical composition for local application or pharmaceutical preparation for local application, wherein said pharmaceutical composition or pharmaceutical preparation contains pharmaceutically acceptable additives.

EFFECT: invention enables to use antibacterial agents in considerably reduced concentrations in pharmaceutical preparations or use said pharmaceutical preparations in smaller doses; also, for chlorhexidine combination with zinc oxide, ascorbic and succinic acids provided immunomodulatory and anti-exudative action of pharmaceutical composition.
