SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of vegetable storage. Beetroot storage method involves beetroot treatment before its allocation to storage by extremely low frequency electromagnetic field in three stages. At the first stage treatment is carried out at electromagnetic field frequency 13-15 Hz and current rate 10 A during 5-15 minutes. At the second stage - at electromagnetic field frequency 23-25 Hz and current rate 15 A during 5-15 minutes. At the third stage - at electromagnetic field frequency 28-30 Hz and current rate 15 A during 5-15 minutes.
EFFECT: invention provides beetroot weight loss enhancement as well as vitamin C and folic acid loss enhancement during storage.
