FIELD: sport.

SUBSTANCE: invention of “Simulator for training technique of javelin throw” relates to sports simulators, and can be used in athletics for learning technique and training javelin throw. Object of invention is to develop a simulator for training technique of javelin throw. Set task is achieved due to that a post with lifting device for changing angle of releasing javelin (carriage) is attached to one end of cable at a height individual for each athlete. Height of lifting carriage depends on athlete's height and angle of flight of javelin required for said exercise. Cable on which a tube is worn, which imitates a fragment of central part of javelin with winding for grip, is installed at required angle for athlete. Detachable shock absorber is attached thereto, which is attached to second post by other end. Depending on training task instead of shock absorber, a rope to which an additional load is attached, can be used. In some training tasks, simulator can be used without shock absorbers and burdened by changing only weight of tube.

EFFECT: proposed simulator enables to train athletes required javelin throwing technique in a relatively short time and throughout year, since it can be used all year-round in closed rooms, as well as use as press machine, thus replacing part of gym.
