FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to surgery, coloproctology, and can be used for choosing a method for surgical treatment of rectocele. Method includes determining in patient presence of obstipation manifestations (OP), evacuation disorders (ED), divergence front portions of muscles, raising anus (RPPM), and chronic haemorrhoid (CH). Pressure is measured in a patient anal canal (P), bioelectric activity of external sphincter (BEA), recto-anal inhibitory reflex (RAIR) and size of diverticle-like bulge (RDV). Then patient examination results are determined: indicator OP as A1, ED - A2, RPPM - A3, P - A4, BEA - A5, CH - A6, RAIR - A7, RDV - A8. Depending on results of investigation of each indicator, assigning determined numerical value. Based on disclosed formula, coefficient of choosing method for surgical treatment of rectocele (K) is calculated. Depending on value K, selecting either Longo operation, or front sphincterolevatoroplasty, or modified Longo operation with front sphincterolevatoroplasty.
EFFECT: method enables to reduce number of recurrences and postoperative complications by taking into account all links of disease process and exclude subjective factor when selecting method for surgical treatment of rectocele.
