Abstract RU 2596728 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: device for application of negative pressure to the wound, according to the first variant, includes a wound dressing, a negative pressure source and a controller. Wound dressing can be made with a possibility of placing above the wound and creating, in fact, impermeable for a liquid medium of an induration above the wound. Negative pressure source is configured so that to be attached to the wound dressing. Controller is configured so as to activate the negative pressure source, to monitor multiple operating cycles of the negative pressure source during multiple consecutive and equal periods of time and to determine the state when the operating cycle of multiple operating cycles exceeds the threshold value of the operating cycle. Method of using the said device consists in placing of a wound dressing above the wound to create, in fact, an impermeable for the liquid medium induration above the wound and in monitoring of an operating cycle of a negative pressure source. Device for application of negative pressure to the wound in the second version includes a wound dressing, a negative pressure source and a controller. Wound dressing can be made with a possibility of placing it above the wound and creating, in fact, of impermeable for a liquid medium induration above the wound. Negative pressure source is configured so that to be attached to the wound dressing. Controller is configured so as to activate a negative pressure source, to monitor the negative pressure source working cycle and to ensure indication if the working cycle exceeds the threshold value of the working cycle. Device for application of negative pressure to the wound, in the third version, includes a wound dressing, a pump, a switch and a controller. Wound dressing can be made with a possibility of placing it above the wound and creating, in fact, of impermeable for a liquid medium induration above the wound. Pump is configured so as to be attached to the wound dressing. Switch is configured so as to suspend pump operation for a certain period of time. Controller is configured so that to monitor the working cycle of the pump, to ensure indication if the working cycle exceeds the threshold value of the working cycle, and to perform the pump restart after a certain period of time. Method of controlling the source of negative pressure, in the first version, includes arrangement of wound dressing above the wound to create, in fact, an impermeable seal above the wound; supply of negative pressure to the wound dressing from the negative pressure source; monitoring of the working cycle of the negative pressure source and ensuring of indication, if the working cycle exceeds the threshold value of the working cycle. Method of controlling the source of negative pressure, in the second version, includes arrangement of the wound dressing above the wound to create, in fact, an impermeable seal over the wound and supply of negative pressure to the wound dressing from the negative pressure source. Supply includes activation of the negative pressure source to try to generate a desired level of negative pressure under the wound dressing, and updating of the first counting of activations. If, at the end of the first time interval, the negative pressure under the wound dressing does not reach the desired level of negative pressure, the negative pressure source is switched off for a second time interval under the condition that the first activations count is less than the first threshold value of the restart. If the first counting of activations is not less than the first threshold value of the restart, the negative pressure source is switched off for the third time interval, the first counting of activations is reset and, at the end of the third time interval, the negative pressure source is activated to try to generate a desired level of negative pressure under the wound dressing. Activation of the negative pressure source at the end of the second time interval to try to generate a desired level of negative pressure under the wound dressing, and updating of the first counting of activations. Negative pressure source disconnection when negative pressure under the wound dressing reaches the desired level of negative pressure, reset of the first counting of activations and monitoring of negative pressure under the wound dressing. When negative pressure under the wound dressing rises above the threshold value of negative pressure, activation of the negative pressure source and updating of the second counting of activations, while the desired level of negative pressure corresponds to the pressure, which is more negative, than the threshold value of negative pressure. If, prior to expiration of the fourth time interval, negative pressure under the wound dressing reached the desired level of negative pressure, the negative pressure source is switched off, negative pressure under the wound dressing is monitored and second counting of activations is reset. If, at the end of the fourth time interval, negative pressure under the wound dressing does not reach the desired level of negative pressure, the negative pressure source is switched off for the second time interval provided that the second counting of activations is less than the second threshold value of the restart. If the second counting of activations is not less than the second threshold value of the restart, the negative pressure source is switched off for the third time interval, the second counting of activations is reset and, at the end of the third time interval, the negative pressure source is activated to try to generate a desired level of negative pressure under the wound dressing, and the first counting of activations is updated. Continuous monitoring of working cycle of a negative pressure source. Monitoring of a certain number of working cycles, which exceed the threshold value of the working cycle, and disconnection of the negative pressure source a duration of the third time interval, if a certain number of working cycles, which exceed the threshold value of the working cycle, exceeds the threshold value of the overload. Method to control a negative pressure pump, in the first version, includes arrangement of the wound dressing above the wound to create, in fact, impermeable for a liquid medium seal above the wound; supply of negative pressure to the wound dressing from the pump to reduce pressure under the wound dressing in direction of the first set point of negative pressure; activation of the pump to reduce pressure under the wound dressing in the direction of the first set point, if the level of negative pressure under the wound dressing rises above the second preset point of negative pressure; monitoring of the amount of time of pump operation and ensuring of indication, if the amount of time exceeds a predetermined amount of time. Method to control a negative pressure source, in the second version, includes arrangement of the wound dressing above the wound to create, in fact, an impermeable for a flowing medium seal above the wound; supply of negative pressure to the wound dressing from the pump; monitoring of a working cycle of the negative pressure pump and indication, if there is determined that the working cycle exceeds the threshold value of the working cycle; stopping of the pump for a certain period of time and restart of the pump at the end of such certain period of time. Method to control a negative pressure pump, in the third version, includes arrangement of a wound dressing above the wound to create, in fact, an impermeable for flowing medium seal above the wound; aspiration of flowing medium from the wound by pump; measurement of the level of activity of the pump; comparing with the level of activity of the pump with a threshold value and ensuring of indication, if the activity level exceeds the threshold value.
