FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to neurosurgery. Method includes searching of abnormal focuses in the stereotaxic biopsy mode. Conic tip with thread fixed thereto is put on the end of the biopsy needle directly before its introduction into the brain tissue. When the neoplasm focus is reached, the biopsy needle is removed, keeping the tip in an abnormal focus. Thread fixed to the tip is brought out on the cortex surface. Abnormal focus is reached through the thread fixed to the tip, then, it is removed.

EFFECT: method enables decreasing surgery injuries, that is ensured by reaching the neoplasm by means of the preliminary kept thread, excluding damage of surrounding brain tissues.
