SUBSTANCE: invention relates to generation of high-energy radiation. Generator of high-energy radiation uses sliding friction in the medium of low pressure for generation of high-energy radiation, for example, x-rays. Sliding friction may be created by means of slipping one material along the second material, for example during rotation of the rotor surface at membrane in the presence of an electronic target, which may be represented by one of the first or second material or other material.
EFFECT: simplified generation of high-energy radiation.
