FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in tooth gears. Gear wheel includes body, toothed rim with teeth and pair of circular pads, fixed on teeth ends and body ends sections adjacent to gear rim, which teeth width on their heads and feet sections is made stepped varying and inversely proportional dependent on engagement pairing ratio. Teeth width change boundary is shifted towards teeth tops and bases by value of transmission axial clearance half. Teeth in their cross-section are made symmetrical in form of letter H, which lateral vertical components are adjacent to end pads and have width equal to quarter of toothed rim width.
EFFECT: optimized gear wheel design.
