FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to machine parts, and can be used in tooth gears with coarse-grained gear wheels with narrow teeth. Gear wheel with narrow coarse-grained teeth consists of body, gear rim with teeth and end pad. Teeth are made with asymmetrical shape and in their main cross section have shape of inverted letter "L". Teeth heads side surfaces width is made with stepwise variable width, inversely proportional dependent on engagement pairing ratio. Width change boundary is shifted towards teeth tops by value of axial clearance half. End pad is fixed on wheel face side, which height of teeth sections is maximum and equal to gear rim height.

EFFECT: enabling reduced costs of gear wheel production and higher bending strength of teeth.
