FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly to machine parts, and can be used in tooth gears with coarse-grained gear wheels. Gear wheel consists of body and gear rim with teeth, in sections of heads and feet of which width of their side surfaces is made stepped varying and inversely proportional dependent on engagement pairing ratio. Teeth heads and feet side surfaces width change boundaries are shifted towards teeth tops and bases by value of transmission axial clearance half. Teeth in their main cross sections are made symmetrical. Parts of heads, with reduced width are located along teeth axes of symmetry, and parts of bases, with reduced width, are divided into two equal parts and located at gear rim ends.
EFFECT: enabling optimized design of gear wheel and reducing costs of its manufacturing.
