FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, in particular, to machines parts, and can be used in tooth gears. Gear wheel includes body and toothed rim with teeth, in sections of which heads width of their side surfaces is made stepped varying and inversely proportional dependent of engagement pairing. Width change boundary is shifted towards teeth tops on value of transmission axial clearance half. Teeth are made asymmetric and have in their central cross sections of upturned “L” type, which vertical component height is equal to toothed rim full height. Parts of teeth with full height are arranged on the side of shaft on which gear wheel is installed.
EFFECT: optimized gear wheel design and its strength is increased.
