FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical engineering. Disclosed is method of producing monoalkylated aromatic compound, involving step for reacting of alkylable aromatic compound with alkylating agent in presence of catalyst composition. Catalyst composition contains porous crystalline material MSM-56 and binder. Said material MSM-56 is synthesized using fuse. Weight ratio of crystalline material to binder in catalytic composition is from more than 20/80 to approximately 80/20.
EFFECT: obtained material MSM-56 has high activity and mono selectiveness, that provides efficiency of process of producing monoalkylated aromatic compounds.
