FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the combined finishing cut of gear wheels. Processed wheel is located in relation to a flat generating wheel with hypoid offset. Out-of-pole engagement of the flat generating wheel with the processed wheel is performed. Productive wheel with cutting edges on its side face is used. Gear wheel rolling is performed by the flat generating wheel, creating the flat geartrain with the processed one. Allowance is cut by transverse and longitudinal sliding of the gears side faces of the flat generating wheel relative to the gears side faces of the processed wheel.
EFFECT: productivity and accuracy of finishing is increased as a result.
