FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to machining spur gear teeth. Proposed method comprises rolling of tool and machined gear fitted on parallel axles. Tool engages with gear out of pole. Machining cycle comprises tool turn in forward and backward directions. Additionally, tool-gear pair is subjected to high-frequency oscillations. Semi-liquid abrasive is fed to machining zone. Rolling tool composed of hardened spur with micro-relief made at its side surface.
EFFECT: higher quality and operating performances.
