SUBSTANCE: invention relates to determination of analyte in physiological fluid sample. Method uses a test element having test field with analytical reagent, suitable for optically detectable analytical reaction in the presence of an analyte. Method involves obtaining a sequence of test field images by means of image receiver. Each image includes a plurality of pixels. According to the method, detection is performed in the images belonging to sequence of the images, characteristic attribute of the test field, taking it into account, change correction of relative position of the image receiver and the test field is performed. Images corrected in this way enable to observe change optically detected property of the test field occurring as a result of analytical reaction of a reagent with an analyte.
EFFECT: high accuracy and significant degree of eliminating artefacts and inaccuracies for evaluation of very small sample volume.
