FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention describes OLED device (1), containing organic layer (3), emitting light (L1) during operation and arranged between, substantially, transparent anode layer (5) and substantially transparent cathode layer (7). Cathode layer (7) is deliberately structured along main plane of OLED device length (EP), to contain at least one cathode area (11, 11a, 11b), in which cathode layer (7) is present, and plurality of cathode-free areas (13, 13a, 13b) and/or, at least one cathode-free area (13, 13a, 13b) with larger length, wherein through these cathode-free areas and/or area (13, 13a, 13b) visible light (L2) can pass in direction across OLED device length (CE). Invention also describes method of said OLED device (1) making.
EFFECT: invention enables to simplify designing of transparent OLED device.
