FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and can be used for biomaterial sampling to obtain reliable data on the content of macro- and microelements in the wool of cattle. Method of sampling and preparation of samples of wool involves shearing of desired sample on weight of not less than 2 g from the top of the animal withers from the area of skin with the size of 5×5 cm. Obtained sample of wool is soaked in electrochemically disinfectant activated catholyte water with temperatures from +40 to +60 °C for 2–3 hours. Then it is washed under running water with great pressure until the visible contamination is disappeared. Then it is cleaned in ultrasonic baths with a working frequency of 35 kHz, using consistently detergent environments: 40 % ethyl alcohol, bidistillated water for 60 min in each environment. After it the sample is dried in a drying cabinet at +40 °C.

EFFECT: convenience of wool sampling from the less contaminated area of the skin is provided.
