FIELD: biochemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biochemistry, namely to method of identifying genes of clinically significant families of β-lactamases in gram-negative microorganisms, for example, in different strains Acinetobacter baumannii, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Burkholderia spp., Enterobacter spp., Stenotrophomonas maltophilia, Elizabethkingia meningoseptica, Serratia marcescens. Method is performed by amplification of fragments by polymerase chain reaction with set of specific oligonucleotide primers and further separation of reaction products by electrophoresis in agarose gel. With help of above method genes of following families of β-lactamase VHS are identified, CTX-M, VIM, IMP, NDM, OXA, KPC, GES, GIM and SPM.

EFFECT: present invention increases range of products for identification of families of β-lactamases VHS, CTX-M, VIM, IMP, NDM, OXA, KPC, GES, GIM and SPM.
