FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: aluminum-bor ligature alloy production method comprises aluminothermal boron component recovery in a melt containing aluminum and a mixture of sodium, potassium and aluminum fluorides at epy temperature above the aluminum melting point and the fluoride mixture melting point and below the boron components decomposition temperature. Either KF-AlF3 mixture, or NaF-AlF3 mixture, or KF-NaF-AlF3 mixture is used as the fluoride mixture, either B2O3, or KBF4, or NaBF4, or Na2B4O7 is used as boron component.
EFFECT: obtaining an aluminum-boron ligature alloy with a high degree of boron assimilation by aluminum, low boron loss in the form of volatile BF3 and the possibility of adjustment and regeneration of the molten mixture of sodium, potassium and aluminum fluorides to maintain the synthesis parameters.
