METHOD FOR DIAGNOSTICS OF PROFESSIONAL CHRONIC OBSTRUCTIVE PULMONARY DISEASE, FORMED UNDER CONDITIONS OF DUST ACTION Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC G01N33/53

Abstract RU 2619861 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a method for diagnosing of professional chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), formed as a result of silicon dust action. The method involves of interleukin 1β and fibroblast growth factor 2 concentration determination in the blood serum of a COPD patient with 17 or more years of work experience under the action of moderately fibrogenic siliceous dusts at MPC excess 1.5 times or more in the exposure area, by solid phase sandwich-type enzyme immunoassay (ELISA), then the regression function value is calculated. If the regression function value is equal to or greater than 0.32, COPD formation as a result of moderately fibrogenic siliceous dusts exposure is concluded for this case.

EFFECT: method allows to diagnose cases of preofessional COPD formed under moderately fibrogenic dusts action, which improves quality of treatment of these patients due to therapeutic strategy individualization with due regard to phenotype characteristics, as well as enhances the objectivity of examination of disease association with profession.
