SUBSTANCE: when assembling the tires, the assembly provides the intermediate portion of the carcass structure at a time corresponding to a forming drum for forming the intermediate line. The forming drum with the intermediate portion of the carcass structure is provided in the first transfer location. The intermediate portion of the carcass structure is completed through the acquisition of n locations where n≥1, and then transferred to the subsequent installation design of the crown to the second location of the transfer. In a working point, at which the first transfer location is engaged in the forming drum, coming from the intermediate forming a line or lines intended for intermediate moulding, there is from one to n locations selected from n locations of acquisition and the second transfer position, occupied by the respective shaping drums.
EFFECT: increased productivity of equipment for assembling tires for vehicle wheels.
