FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for preparing methyl 2-halo-6-alkyl-3-tsianoizonikotinovyh acids of the general formula (1)
wherein R = CH3, X = Cl; R = CH3, X = Br; R = C (CH3)3, X = Cl, characterized in that the mixture consisting of 0.005 mol of 4-1,1,2,2-oksopentan tetrakarbonitrila or 5,5-dimethyl-4-1,1,2,2-oksogeksan tetrakarbonitrila 0 1 mol of methanol and 0.03 mol of concentrated hydrochloric or hydrobromic acid 0.015 mol stirred at 70-80°C to give the desired product.
EFFECT: resulting compounds can find use as microbicides and TB, antidepressants, plant protection means and as a starting material for pyridoxine.
