SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing alkyl 2-oxo-1,2-dihydropyridine-3,4-dicarbonitriles of general formula wherein R1=R2=CH3; R1=CH3, R2=C2H5; R1=CH3, R2=C3H7; R1+R2=(CH2)3; R1+R2=(CH2)4; R1+R2=(CH2)5; R1+R2=(CH2)6; R1+R2=(CH2)2CH(CH3)CH2; R1+R2=(CH2)2CH[C(CH3)3]CH2. Method involves reacting mixture of dialkyl or ketone, tetracyanoethylene cycloalkyl 1,4-dioxane with 90% sulphuric acid while stirring at temperature of 60-70°C for 2-3 hours, after which reaction mass is cooled and diluted with water to extract end product.
EFFECT: invention can be used as anti-inflammatory, anaesthetic, anticancer and cardiac drugs, as well as fluorescent labels and sensors.
