SUBSTANCE: method for determining the remoteness of the short-circuit of the contact network is that at the moment of a short circuit the values of the currents (IA, IB), voltages (UA, UB) and phase angles (ϕA, ϕB) therebetween are measured at adjacent substations. Additional phase angles (ψA, ψB) are determined, using the parameters of the no-load voltage (UA0, UB0) and of resistances (XnA, XnB). By means of implementing the computational algorithms, additional modules (
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy and simplifying the method for determining the remoteness of a short circuit.
