FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: internal carotid arteries and internal jugular veins are distinguished on an integral non-fixed cadaver, on both sides. The vessels are washed first with running water, then with 3-5% brine. Further, a complex solution consisting of white silicone rubber, silicone oil solvent and a coloring pigment (red and blue pigment) in a ratio of 1:(0.9-1.1):(0.04-0.06), respectively, is prepared. 30-60 seconds prior to complex solution is introduction into vessels, a catalyst-hardener is added to the solution at a ratio of 1:(0.05-0.07), and mixed until a homogeneous mass is obtained. The complex solution is first introduced into the internal carotid artery until the complex solution appears from the opposite side of the internal carotid artery, then into the internal jugular vein until the complex solution appears from the opposite side of the internal jugular vein.
EFFECT: method allows to quickly and qualitatively visualize both large and very small brain vessels.
