FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to measure deviations from the circular shape of the hulls of large rotation bodies, for example, in frame sections of the cylindrical packages or conical inserts, mainly submarines (SM), as well as vessels for various purposes. The method for measuring the shape of a solid hull of a submarine closed by structures the outer hull, involves marking up the source control points on the outer surface of the solid hull and determining their coordinates using three-dimensional measuring means of tacheometer or tracker type, which is installed outside the light hull. At each initial reference point, a laser range finder is alternately positioned along the normal to the solid hull and determines the distance to the opposite point on the inner surface of the light hull and marks it. Then, a transducer of the ultrasonic flaw detector is installed at this point and in the shadow control method a corresponding external control point is applied to the outer surface of the light point. After that, the reflector is installed on this point and determined by the three-dimensional means of measuring its coordinates in the ship coordinate system, then the coordinates of the outer point are transformed into coordinates of the virtual point lying on the radius vector passing through the starting point. Then the true coordinates of each initial checkpoint of the strong case are determined, transferring the location of the virtual point along the radius vector to the certain distance in the direction of the solid hull. After that, the obtained coordinates are entered into the computer, which, according to the found data, determines the shape deviation of the SM solid hull from circular in different sections.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of measurements of the hull deviations from the circular shape and reducing the laboriousness of the measuring process.
