SUBSTANCE: method includes determining the concentration of platelets (C_TP, thousand/mcl) in thrombocyte concentrate (TC), lifetime colour of platelets with a dye prepared by diluting 5-15 mg of trypaflavine and 15-25 mg of acridine orange at room temperature in 100 ml of phosphate buffer at pH=7.2-7.4, by introducing a dye into the TK sample at the rate of 200 mcl of the dye per 1 ml of TK, after which the study of the preparation with coloured platelets is performed using a fluorescent microscope, followed by the determination of the average luminescence intension (LI_experience) of the first field of view of the microscope, in addition, according to the calibration curve or by the formula, the standard value of the luminescence intensity 1 of the field of view of the microscope in the preparation with a TK probe containing 25% of granules rich platelets (GRP) (LI_GRP25%); after which they compare the LI_GRP25% with the LI_test, when the LI_test≥LI_GRP25%, the platelets are considered suitable for cryopreservation.

EFFECT: invention can be used to select platelet donors in order to obtain a platelet concentrate suitable for cryopreservation.
