FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: polypeptides are characterized by amino acid sequences set in SEQ ID NO: 2, 4, 6. The present invention also relates to nucleic acid molecules encoding these polypeptides. The nucleotide sequences of the said nucleic acid molecules are shown in SEQ ID NO: 1, 3, 5. The invention relates to expression vectors comprising these nucleic acid molecules. The invention also relates to prokaryotic host microorganism for expression of the said polypeptide alcohol dehydrogenases.
EFFECT: invention produces new polypeptides from Bacillus methanolicus with alcohol dehydrogenase activity, including methanol dehydrogenase.
