SUBSTANCE: device includes a built-in camera and an illumination camera and sets the lighting mode as the working state of the illuminating lamp when there is insufficient ambient light to provide additional lighting power for the built-in camera; selecting a frame of a new image from the video stream output by the built-in camera, as a potential image; obtaining a set of parameters of the current state of the built-in camera in accordance with the potential image; determine whether each state parameter in the set satisfies the specified standard corresponding to this parameter; as well as the output of the potential image as a contrast image of the palm print, merged with the palm print, if all the state parameters satisfy the corresponding specified standards; and comparing the contrast image of the palm print with one or more pre-recorded reference palm image images to perform user authentication.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of contactless palm authentication.
