SUBSTANCE: method for encoding multichannel video frames using interchannel prediction is proposed, wherein the multichannel video is made by devices with different vision angles. The method comprises the stage of receiving a plurality of input frames and corresponding vision angles. Then, frame-predictor is searched from the mentioned plurality of input frames for the encoded frame so that the vision angle corresponding to the frame-predictor is different from the vision angle corresponding to the mentioned encoded frame and a pointer indicating the detected frame-predictor is obtained.

EFFECT: increased visual quality of the compressed video signal due to the fact that each of the channels corresponds to its own vision angle.
