SUBSTANCE: generator contains a pumping source and a resonator consisting of two fibre parts - an active nonlinear loop and a long linear part connected via a four-port fibre coupler; the active loop forms a nonlinear loop mirror and active fibre section, the long linear part contains a long segment of passive fibre, with one end connected to a Faraday mirror; in accordance with the invention, in order to provide a stable mode for generating pulsed radiation with a high pulse energy (>4 μJ) and high average radiation powers, a loop of intracavity power distribution is additionally introduced into the long linear part of the resonator, consisting of an adjustable power attenuator, an additional active fibre cutoff, an additional fibre combiner of wave lengths with an additional pump source, an optical isolator, two fibre polarization dividers having a minimum of three fibre ports.
EFFECT: stable mode of generating pulsed radiation by reducing the influence of nonlinear effects in the long part of the resonator.
