FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves subcutaneous administration of 60% CCl4 oil solution to a rat. At the first stage of simulation, the solution is administered according to the following scheme: first, 0.5 ml per 100 g of the animal's weight 2 times a week within 2 weeks at intervals of 3-4 days, and then 0.3 ml per 100 g of the animal's weight 2 times a week with an interval of 3-4 days also within 2 weeks. At the second stage, administration of 60% CCl4 oil solution is continued for the next three weeks at a dose of 0.5 ml per 100 g of weight once a week. At the second stage, 1 ml of incomplete Freund's adjuvant is injected intraperitoneally one day before the solution is administered.
EFFECT: creation of a model for severe hepatic failure without spontaneous reversion of biochemical and histological signs of liver damage due to a stable decrease in the weight of viable cells, formation of a hepatic autoantigen, and inhibition of regeneration in the liver during induction of autoimmune inflammation.
