FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: vibration isolation system comprises four vibration isolators mounted on a base and rigidly connected to a supporting platform by bolts. Every vibration isolator consists of a base and a pendulum suspension. The pendulum suspension comprises a threaded stud with one its end being connected to a supporting arm and the other end - to a thrust washer and nut coupled with a bushing connected to a ring. The upper flange of a resilient element placed in a protective housing bears against the bushing. The base of every vibration isolator is made box-type and includes horizontal supporting plates coupled by vertical partitions. Every resilient element of a vibration isolator is made as a spring with built-in damper. The damper is built into the resilient elements of the system and is located inside the spring elements between the support rings to fix the ends of the springs. The damper is made in the form of a sleeve inside which a piston with screw grooves on its surface is located with a gap. The piston is connected to a rod installed in the sleeve cover. A sealing cuff is fitted around the rod in the sleeve cover. The over-piston and sub-piston cavities of the damper are filled with antifriction grease. In the bushing of the pendulum suspension there is a bushing made of polyurethane.
EFFECT: increase the efficiency of vibration isolation in resonance mode.
